Workshop and parts store

The fittings in technical and logistical working areas of the Autohaus are of a purely functional nature. All the specifications for these areas are given in the Mercedes-Benz operating resources manual. The colors of workshop fittings, cobalt blue and basalt gray, have been chosen for their user-friendliness and blend in perfectly with the overall concept.

The colors of the shelves in the store match the architectural concept: the supporting structure is in gray aluminum, the shelves are galvanized or made of wood, and catwalks and floor grids are also galvanized.

The uniformity of the design of areas like Sales, Servicing and the Parts Store is what creates the sense of unity throughout the Autohaus. Parallels are desirable in this context. The interior design of the workshop in the Autohaus radiates technical competence and functionality, and includes some of the features of the showroom design.

ExpressService

The customer area in the ExpressService department is furnished with CI furniture.

The simplest version of the ExpressService is incorporated in the workshop as an integrated solution. The interior design features are the same as those for tile workshop. In the shop-in-shop solution, the ExpressService area is separated off from the workshop by a glass facade and a suspended ceiling in the customer area. These and other interior design elements match those in the other customer areas.

The design elements in the free-standing satellite solution also follow the same concept.
